Virechana

What is Virechana? Virechana is the administration of purgative substances for the cleansing of pitta (one of the three Ayurvedic humours) through the lower pathways. During Virechana, toxins are eliminated from the body. Virechana cleanses toxins from the blood,
the sweat glands, kidneys, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, and spleen.

When is Virechana applied? We apply Virechana to address any of the following:

Skin diseases , f.e. acne, skin inflammation
Chronic fever
Haemorrhoids
Abdominal tumours
Swollen spleen
Swelling liver and jaundice
Gout
Glaucoma
Attention disorder

Virechana is not appropriate: With children, with old people over 80 years old, in the event of dehydration, debilitation, acute fever, bleeding from rectum, blood in stool, diarrhoea, ulcerative colitis.

What is the price? Procedure is used according to the ayurvedic physician, the price is between 800,– CZK and 1500,–CZK.
